Autumn and Tanner found a love in each other they could only dream of. From their first date in Grand Haven, to buying their first home together, they quickly found the one thing that was always missing from their lives: one another. When Tanner first reached out to Autumn on social media, he knew it was a long shot. He saw this stunningly beautiful woman they'd had a mutual friend in common with, and knowing he'd likely not get a response, he sent along a message: "Pretty sure this is the craziest message I've ever sent, but I'm just going to shoot my shot...Just wanted to let you know you're maybe the most beautiful woman I've ever seen..." 4 hours later, and he'd get a response that would change his life forever. Two weeks later, they went on their first date. They didn't start small, they went big. They visited Grand Haven and after 24 hours felt like 10 seconds, they decided to do it again the next day. Being in their late 20's they knew what each other was looking for: a real love that would burn even through the heaviest of storms. As time went on, Tanner and Autumn quickly realized that was this love. A love so strong, it would last countless lifetimes. As the hours turned into days, turning weeks into months, Tanner and Autumn would always drop little hints of popping the question. And on the morning of October 11th, Tanner planned just that. Autumn woke up that morning to a card that read "My love...today we're going to do something special. Take your time getting ready. Dave and Trina are expecting the kids. Let’s go on the adventure of a lifetime…” As she went into the bathroom to get ready, she found another envelope. A pathway of candles, and multiple cards later, Autumn and Tanner found themselves in Port Oneida where a photographer was waiting, disguising herself as a beachgoer reading by the water. Tanner grabbed Autumn's hands, looked into her eyes, and said “Autumn…from the second we started talking, I knew we had something special. From the moment we met, and I saw those beautiful eyes and that smile, I knew you had my heart. These past months I’ve come to realize I never want to spend another second of my life without you three. Autumn Marie…will you make me the happiest man in the world, take my last name, and will you marry me?” A teary-eyed, smiling Autumn, happily said "YES!" As she gazed down at her ring, then back to Tanner, Tanner had one final card for her. It read, "My Love…As you wear this Ring, let it be a reminder of my Forever Promise to you. I promise to be the man you deserve. I promise to live up to the standard of a partner that a woman like you should expect. I promise to love you with all my heart, all the days of our lives, in this life and the next. I promise to cherish you, to sacrifice for you, to work hard for you, to be patient with you, and to always be open with you. I promise to take care of you, Remington, and Willow—for you three are now my life. We are one family. Our family. I promise to always be honest with you, to communicate with you, and to adore you through the easy times and the hard. I promise to lift you up, and never tear you down. I promise to hold your heart with grace, and to never let it feel alone. I promise to respect you, to empower you, to be honest with you, and to work together—as a team—until the end of time. You, and our children, are the greatest gift I have ever received. And I promise to treasure that gift every second of my life. We are now One. Our lives are changing forever, and I’m so thankful to begin this journey together. I promise to love you, forever and always. &nbsp;To the Big, Big, Moon…" As the Newlyweds begin their journey of marriage, they'd like everyone to look at your own relationships. They'd like you to reflect on the love you have for your significant other. What was that "ah-ha" moment you two shared? What was that moment that sparked a connection of a lifetime? They ask you to take that moment, that memory, and hold onto it. Reflect on it often. Share your love with each other. Hold each other tight. And fall in love all over again.
